You can simulate battles but that takes the fun out of the RTS but after about 2 hours of playing I really cringed at fighting battles because they simply take too much time. I like the army management but I wish battles would go faster. Its very slow due to how many hit points everything has and how little damage units do especially early in the game. Its actually pretty fun but gets old real quick. RTS elements are available during combat. Abschließend nochmal: TW Warhammer 2 ist ein tolles Spiel für Menschen Rundenstrategie mögen, aber auch gern mal in die Echtzeitstragie ablgeiten wollen.
Ganz klassisch wie die Singleplayerkampagne. Wenn ich einen Wusch für TW Warhammer III äußern dürfte, dann würde ich mir einen Weltkarten Multiplayermodus wünschen. Zum Glück bin ich kein Entwickler und muss mir dafür keine Lösung einfallen lassen. Ich wollte einfach nur zum Ende kommen, Das ist sehr schade, denn TW Warhammer II ist eigentlich ein großartiges Spiel und verdient es nicht wie Fast Food behandelt zu werden. Das ist zwar logisch, aber ich habe mich dabei erwischt das Spiel nicht mehr zu genießen. Gegen Ende der Kampagne ist man zu stark und fegt über die Karte ohne großartige Herausforderungen.
Einige kleinere Kritikpunkte muss sich das Spiel aber dennoch gefallen lassen: -Die Mechanik des Kampagnen Sieges über die Rituale ist nicht so gelungen und hätte besser umgesetzt werden können. Es macht Spaß und ist kann durchaus anspruchsvoll sein, wenn man tief ins Spiel eintauchen möchte, Die Fraktionen sind unterschiedlich genug um Abwechslung zu bieten, bleiben dabei aber immer verständlich.
